RAGS is a non-profit general purpose Ham Radio club.
It does not own or maintain a repeater.
Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. the 2nd Thursday of each month, except during July and August. Five of these meetings have special programs:

November Fall Auction
December Holiday Covered Dish Dinner
April Spring Auction
May Ole Timer's Nite
June Retiring/Installation Dinner

During the summer the club holds a family picnic at a location easy for all to attend. This is open for members, family, friends, and anyone interested in fellowship and/or an interest in the hobby.

The other five meetings held during the term offer a variety of programs. Light refreshments are served between 8:30 and 9 p.m. when eyeball QSOs can be enjoyed and one-on-one discussions can be held with our visiting guests. To encourage the younger set, the working hams, and the retired members to join our meetings we try to keep it within 2 hours, still allowing those wishing to stay longer to have an extra eye-ball QSO.
